Obaku are an exciting new, exclusive line of Danish designed ladies and mens watches inspired by eastern philosophy and manufactured by Ingersoll. The look, feel and design of Obaku watches are completely unlike any other watches on the market and Obaku could easily be the brand of watches to bring us into the second decade of the 21st century.

The smooth simplistic and slim line designs of Obaku watches, which were only launched in 2007, have captured the imagination of designers worldwide and have been a retail revelation and in only 2 years after their launch Obaku watches are rapidly gaining a large foothold in the watch retail sector.

Obaku watches were available in 21 countries until the recent Watch & Clock Fair in Hong Kong in October 2009, when another seven large national retailers signed up to promote their brand, now taking the total to 29 countries, which is remarkable progress for such a new brand.

The philosophy of Obaku watches is that "Simplicity is a lifestyle" and Obaku watches represent calmness, balance and harmony in an ever moving world.

The range of Obaku watches is limited to only a few dozen models, keeping in line with their philosophy, with the Obaku mens watches coming in classic round and square dials but in much more simplistic, toned and slimmed down variations. Obaku ladies watches are also available in those styles as well as coming in bangle and bracelet designs.
